As a mother of two small children, Jennifer personally appreciates photography’s unique ability to forever freeze a precise moment in time. Jennifer’s photographs reflect each quickly vanishing moment of childhood at its aesthetic best – from the delicate wrinkles of newborn skin to the soft scrumptious babies cheek. From the feeling of pride in the toddlers gait and his sense of wonderment in exploring the world to the contrived smile of the preschooler whose tooth is hanging on by a thread.

Jennifer creates a permanent print of the essence of each child in exactly the way parent’s wish they could keep their children forever frozen in time. Each session evokes a fond remembrance of a favorite stage or age.

Relaxed, down-to-earth and extremely patient, Jennifer creates a sense of comfort and fun for children, who often don’t want their photo shoot to end. She portrays kids being kids: giggles, smiles, laughter, pouts, scratches, tears and all.

Jennifer received her BFA from Cornell University, interned at Magnum Photos, assisted Arnold Newman and worked for several commercial photographers before starting her own business. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, People, Time Out NY Kids, Gotham, Quest Magazine and on the cover of New York Family. An instructor of photography at the JCC in Manhattan, Jennifer has been photographing children for 10 years.
